The legal metrology department in Kochi has seized the equipment after finding it uncalibrated. Several cabin crew members have lost their jobs and lodged complaints with the labour ministry. The management has approached the high court after the seizure of equipment. Cabin crew are also forced to share rooms with unfamiliar employees.
