'BJP government cannot take away our right to speak': Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge during protest at Jantar Mantar
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the BJP government for suppressing the right to speak given by the Constitution. He accused the BJP of preventing a Dalit from speaking and passing laws unopposed. Kharge emphasized the need for unity in the face of threats from government agencies. Leaders of the INDIA bloc, including Sharad Pawar and Rahul Gandhi, held a protest called 'Save Democracy'. Meanwhile, 146 opposition MPs were suspended and significant criminal laws were passed during the Winter Session of Parliament, which also witnessed a security breach.
