J'khand: INDIA bloc leaders take out protest rally against suspension of MPs
Friday, 22 December 2023 Jharkhand bloc leaders, including JMM, Congress, and RJD, took part in a protest march in Ranchi against the suspension of more than 140 MPs during the winter session. The MPs were suspended for unruly behavior and disrupting proceedings over a security breach. The leaders accused the BJP government of behaving like a dictator and suppressing the voice of people's representatives. The protest march started from Ranchi's Zila school and culminated near Raj Bhavan, covering a two-kilometer stretch.
In a significant turn of events, leaders from the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance, INDIA, rallied together at Jantar Mantar on Friday, under the banner 'Save Democracy,' to protest against the suspension of 146 opposition MPs during the Winter Session of Parliament.
