Security upped in Delhi areas with Jewish presence and markets

Following an explosion near the Israel embassy in the Indian capital, Delhi has been placed on high alert. Security has been increased in areas with Jewish population and important Jewish establishments. The security of Israeli diplomats, staff, and tourists is being reviewed. Delhi Police, along with intelligence agencies, are taking all inputs seriously and have beefed up security around all embassies. Previous incidents in 2012 and 2021 targeting the Israeli embassy and its diplomat have made the police more cautious.
