PM Modi to visit Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep on January 2-3

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects. In Tamil Nadu, he will attend the 38th Convocation Ceremony of Bharathidasan University and inaugurate the New Terminal Building at Tiruchirappalli International Airport. He will also dedicate railway and road sector projects, including a rail line section and five road projects. In Lakshadweep, Modi will launch the Kochi-Lakshadweep Islands Submarine Optical Fiber Connection project, the Low Temperature Thermal Desalination plant, and the Functional Household Tap Connections.

Polling in 102 parliamentary seats across 21 states and Union Territories in the first phase of Lok Sabha Elections commenced at 7 am on April 19 and ended at 6 pm.
