BTech students arrested for duping bank manager with fake London job offer
Two B Tech students were arrested for cheating a bank manager by offering him a position in a London Bank. The accused conducted an online interview and asked the victim to pay various fees, cheating him of Rs 21 lakh. The victim received an email offering him the position and later a call from a recruitment agency. After the interview, the victim was asked to pay fees for verification, certification, and seat confirmation. The accused were arrested and police have frozen their bank accounts.
