Arvind Kejriwal off to Gujarat on 3-day trip from Saturday

IndiaTimes Friday, 5 January 2024
Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi and AAP's national convener, is set to visit Gujarat to oversee preparations for the Lok Sabha polls. During his three-day visit, Kejriwal will address a public meeting, meet jailed AAP MLA Chaitar Vasava, and visit his family. The timing and choice of state for the visit, PM Narendra Modi's home turf, is seen as significant given Kejriwal's allegations that the ED is trying to arrest him at the behest of the central government. Kejriwal believes that the repeated summons from the ED are an attempt to hinder his campaigning for the upcoming elections.
