Friday, 5 January 2024 Congress invites aspirants for Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra before finalizing seat-sharing formula with Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) constituents. Talks on seat-sharing between Congress, NCP, Shiv Sena, and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) are in final stage with no differences among the parties. Congress and NCP have no objection to including VBA in MVA. Congress leaders met in New Delhi to discuss seat-sharing and invited names from interested candidates.
