Tragic fire in multi-storey building claims six lives
A fire broke out in a multi-storey building in Pitampura, Delhi, resulting in the death of six people and injuring one. The cause of the fire is still unknown. Eight fire tenders were deployed to control the blaze, and seven people were rescued. Unfortunately, six of them, including four women, were pronounced dead. The fire was extinguished within an hour, but the smoke trapped the victims on the upper floors. Further investigations are underway by the police.
