Bihar CM Nitish shifts minister who criticised epic

IndiaTimes Monday, 22 January 2024
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar appeared to be playing the 'soft Hindutva' card apparently in a bid to cash in on the surging Hindu sentiments in the run-up to Monday's Ram Lalla consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. Nitish on Sunday inaugurated Sriram Janaki Medical College and hospital in Samastipur district. On Saturday night, Nitish government had shifted RJD minister Chandra Shekhar - who had been criticising Ramcharitmanas - from education to sugarcane ministry.
