Macron will have the honor of being the sixth French president to have been invited to New Delhi’s Republic Day celebrations, a feat of being the highest for any nation.Emmanuel Macron was greeted by Prime Minister Modi, who is expected to win an unprecedented third term in office. PM Modi, known to receive world leaders with a mega roadshow, meeting the French president for the 6th time since May, greeted Macron in the same fashion in the Pink city of Jaipur.
Just hours after Macron's Europe speech, the head of the French far-right party Jordan Bardella called for a last-minute press conference on Thursday in Paris, unveiling his campaign for the European elections… but refused to answer questions.
