Monday, 12 February 2024 Following Ashok Chavan, more than a dozen Congress members are prepared to quit from the party, according to sources. They have not yet decided whether to join the Shiv Sena, led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the BJP, or the NCP, led by Ajit Pawar. Along with Chavan, his loyal assistant and former legislator, Amar Rajurkar, has also left Congress.
