Assets bought by man in wife's name is family property: High court

Allahabad HC ruled property bought by husband in the name of his homemaker wife will be the property of the family. A son can claim co-ownership in a civil suit against the deceased father's property. HC observed that unless it was otherwise proved the property was purchased using wife's income, it is deemed to have been purchased by the husband.
