BSP releases first list of candidates for Lok Sabha polls in UP; loyalists, first-timers make it to the list

The party has selected candidates from every caste and religious community dominant in the respective Lok Sabha constituencies, avoiding over-dependence on any particular community for candidate selection. Most of the names on the official candidate list released by the party were previously declared by the district units of the party over time as probable candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in UP.
