Hawker accused in 1993 riots acquitted after 31 yrs

A 55-year-old hawker, Harish Chandra Nadar, accused in the 1993 Mumbai communal riots, was acquitted by a sessions court due to lack of evidence. Nadar, arrested earlier this year, was cleared of charges related to rioting and arson. The defense highlighted Nadar's unawareness of the case status, leading to his acquittal.
