The Bombay High Court overturned a 1997 collision as not an 'act of God', directing compensation to the deceased car owner's family. Both drivers were found equally negligent in the accident. The court considered negligence over 'process of elimination' and awarded Rs 10 lakh compensation despite expenses exceeding.
