Conspiracy against PM amounts to treason: Delhi high court
The Delhi HC declared that accusing someone of conspiring against the Prime Minister is a grave accusation amounting to treason. Such allegations cannot be made lightly without substantial evidence, the court emphasized. This statement came during a hearing of a case brought by BJD MP Pinaki Misra against lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai, aiming to prevent him from spreading what Misra deemed as "false and defamatory" tweets and statements.
