Centre has released Rs 3,454 cr for drought relief, says Siddaramaiah
On Saturday, Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah stated that the Centre has approved Rs 3,499 crore as drought relief and has released only Rs 3,454 crore. He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide the remaining amount as soon as possible. The chief minister expressed gratitude to the Supreme Court for cautioning the Central government and offering some drought relief to the state.
