Nokia users in India viewed 12.7 billion webpages, consuming 1.67 PetaBytes of data in H2, 2012India leads the global race in having the most number of app publishers on Nokia Store according to a survey conducted by the Finnish mobile company. The survey called the Nokia Mobisight, studied how Indians accessed Internet on their Nokia phones between June-December 2012. According to the report of the 1,20,000 apps on the Nokia Store a majority have been published by Indian app developers, followed by developers from other countries like Finland, US and China. The survey also studied the trends among the Internet users and found that Indians not only want to be safe from online predators, but also want to keep most of their phone’s features away from prying eyes using third-party security apps.
