Police continue to investigate burglary ring involving Kirby vacuum sales

WICHITA, Kansas -- More and more people have contacted Wichita police saying they were approached by members of a burglary ring.Officials say more than a 100 homeowners report a suspicious couple tried to sell them Kirby vacuum cleaners.It is believed the two look around inside while posing as door-to-door salespeople. They then burglarize the house at a later time. Police say that at least two dozen break-ins are connected.If you were approached by a suspicious couple selling vacuums, you're urged to call authorities.Police say valid Kirby vacuum salespeople carry proper identification with them.
