Shawn Levy is teasing that there's a moment in 'Deadpool 3' that's inspired by 'Star Wars'.
While promoting his latest project, 'All the Light We Cannot See', the director and executive producer of the Netflix limited series offered a glimpse into how one of his next big projects, 'Deadpool 3', will pay tribute to another franchise universe he loves and is developing a feature for.
The latest 'Deadpool & Wolverine' trailer is bringing Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman together as frenemies. Shawn Levy is at the helm of the new movie, which arrives July 26th and marks Marvel Studios’ first R-rated film.

Netflix confirmed the sequel
on May 15, 'Variety' reports.
Adam Sandler will reprise one of his most popular roles as Happy Gilmore, a hockey player who becomes a golfer.
Christopher McDonald, who played
Shooter McGavin in the original film,
first sparked sequel rumors in March.

weeks ago, and he says to me,
