Stella Assange arrives at the High Court ahead of its ruling on whether it accepts the US assurances that Julian Assange will be given a fair trial and will not face the death penalty if extradited.

The Infected Blood memorial, which was on display at the Inquiry until hearings finished in February 2023, will be permanently rehomed after the report of the publication.
Designed by Art Lewry, the memorial mimics a laboratory specimen holder, and inside each jar is a message to a loved one written by someone infected or affected by the contaminated blood. A Moroccan asylum seeker has been sentenced to life in jail for murder, with a minimum term of 45 years, at Teesside Crown Court. In October last year, 45-year-old Ahmed Alid stabbed Iranian Christian convert Javed Nouri at the house he was sharing with other asylum seekers before looking for more victims in Hartlepool town centre. He then stabbed and killed 70-year-old Terence Carney who was out for his regular early morning walk. Alid told police he had committed his crimes out of βrevengeβ for Israel killing children in the Palestinian conflict. Report by Jonesia.
