Michael Andrew is an American competitive swimmer and the 2016 world champion in the 100 meter individual medley. He qualified for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, representing the United States in the 100 meter breaststroke, 200 meter individual medley, and 50 meter freestyle. He is the first swimmer qualifying to represent the United States at an Olympic Games in an individual breaststroke event as well as another individual event other than an individual medley.
