Operation True Promise III is a future planned Islamic Republic of Iran military operation. Iran is planning to launch "Operation True Promise 3" in response to October 2024 Israeli strikes on Iran that killed 5 Iranian soldiers and damaged military sites. Commander of IRGC General Hossein Salami has warned that the attack will be harsh and "unimaginable". On 8 November 2024 IRGC test fired a long range missile possibly in preparation for the attack. Hossein Taeb has said the operation hurts Israel and Americans' image, the way least expected.
