Vivek Joshi is a 1989-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from Haryana who has been serving as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Haryana since 1 November 2024 onwards. Previously, he served as Personnel Secretary of India from 19 August 2024 till 31 October 2024. Prior to that, he served as Secretary, Department of Financial Services.
He will be next election commissioner of India.
