Ram Bahadur Thapa, also known by his nom de guerre Badal, is a Nepali communist politician and the current Minister for Home Affairs. He is a member of the central secretariat of Nepal Communist Party (NCP). Before the establishment of the Nepal Communist Party, he was General Secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal. He was elected to National Assembly from Bagmati Pradesh in 2018.
