Salwan Momika: Iraqi refugee and anti-Islam activist (1986–2025)
Salwan Sabah Matthew Momika was an Iraqi refugee in Sweden and former paramilitary member of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF). While living in Sweden, he became known for being an anti-Islam activist who organized public demonstrations where he burnt and desecrated the Quran. Momika was killed on 29 January 2025 during a live broadcast on TikTok.
