Ananda Vikatan: Indian news magazine
Ananda Vikatan is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. On 16 February 2025, Vikatan reported that its website was allegedly blocked following controversy over a cartoon in its digital magazine Vikatan Plus depicting Prime Minister Narendra Modi with chained hands, which was seen as a critique of his silence on the handcuffing of Indian immigrants deported from the U.S., sparking debates on press freedom and drawing condemnation from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
