Johannes Jacobus "Hannes" Strydom was a South African rugby union player who played for the South Africa national rugby union team between 1993 and 1997. He went to school at Pearson High School in Port Elizabeth and the A rugby field is named after him. He worked as a pharmacist in Pretoria.
