Non-Hispanic Whites totaled about 197,181,177 or about 60.1% of the population in 2019. White Hispanic and Latino Americans totaled about 38,277,289 or about 11.8% of the total population in 2019. European Americans are the largest panethnic group of White Americans and have constituted the majority population of the United States since the nation's founding.
