Rwanda: COP29 - Kagame Arrives in Azerbaijan for Climate Change Summit
Tuesday, 12 November 2024 () [New Times] President Paul Kagame on Tuesday, November 12, arrived in Baku, Azerbaijan where world leaders gathered for the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
An Afghan delegation will attend the upcoming UN climate change summit in Azerbaijan, the foreign ministry spokesman told AFP on Saturday, marking a first since the Taliban government came to power. OF KANDAHAR
The event is a precursor to the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference, which will be held in November in Azerbaijan with the broad aim to combat climate change.
