Gokaldas hits record high on deal giving it cheaper US market access

Shares of Gokaldas Exports, an Indian apparel manufacturer, surged 20% to a record high after announcing a deal that would allow it to ship clothing duty-free to the United States. The company will acquire Dubai-based Atraco Group for $55 million, granting it access to other export markets and increasing production.
