RBL Bank Q2 net profit jumps 46 percent to Rs 294 crore

RBL Bank on Saturday reported a 46 percent increase in its net profit for the September quarter, reaching INR 294 crore. Its core net interest income grew 26 per cent to Rs 1,475 crore on the back of a 21 per cent increase in advances and a wide expansion in the net interest margin to 5.54 per cent from 5.02 per cent a year ago. The other income rose 21 per cent to Rs 704 crore in the September quarter as against Rs 583 crore in the quarter-ago period.
