Adani Green sketches out plan for repaying $750 million bond

Adani Green Energy, the solar-energy unit of Adani Group, has unveiled its repayment plan for its $750 million bond due next year. The company will redeem the notes in full by the due date, using a funding letter for $675 million provided by the bond's underwriters. Additionally, the company will utilize equity transaction proceeds to build up the repayment sum. The bond has extended its rally, reaching its highest level since April 2022. Adani Group's executives have taken various measures to restore investor trust since Hindenburg allegations.
