Britain's Marex Group files for US IPO

British commodities broker Marex Group plans to list its shares in New York, dealing another blow to London's efforts to attract companies to its stock exchange. Marex, backed by private equity firm JRJ, has confidentially filed a draft registration statement for an IPO in the US. This move follows Marex's failed attempt to list in London two years ago. London has witnessed several high-profile defections to New York this year, including CRH, Flutter Entertainment, and Arm Holdings.
