Paul John single malt maker to up capacity

John Distilleries is expanding the capacity of its single malts by almost three times to meet strong demand in the domestic and export markets. The company, with revenues of Rs 7,000 crore last year, is investing over Rs 100 crore at its Goa distillery. The expansion will increase the capacity from 1.2 million litres to 3.4 million litres. Indians are increasingly choosing locally-made single malt brands, and Paul John's sales are strong globally as well.
