Kerala IT sector marked growth in 2023

Kerala's IT sector experienced growth in 2023, recovering from the pandemic. The export revenue of IT companies in Kerala increased, including from government-controlled IT parks like Thiruvananthapuram Technopark, Kochi Infopark, and Kozhikode Cyberpark, as well as private IT parks such as Kozhikode UL cyberpark and Muthoot Technopolis. The government plans to establish 20 small IT parks based on 5G technology. Kerala Fiber Optic Network (K-FON) initiative aims to provide affordable, high-speed internet access. Kerala surpassed the national average in tele-density.
