Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveils budget with focus on poor, women, youth

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Modi government's last budget to parliament before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, emphasizing the government's focus on marginalized groups. She highlighted the increase in average real income and the reduction in multidimensional poverty. "Poor, women, youth and farmers are four castes for the government", she said.
