Byju’s investors vote to oust CEO from troubled ed-tech startup

Major Byju’s shareholders, including Prosus NV and Peak XV Partners, voted to remove founder Byju Raveendran as CEO and from the board due to a long-running dispute and financial troubles faced by the online tutoring startup. Byju’s rejected the resolutions, which also sought to remove Byju Raveendran from the board of the company he founded in 2015, the company said in a statement on Friday.
