PM Modi's women’s day ‘gift’: Rs 100 cut in domestic LPG prices

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a Rs 100 cut in non-subsidised domestic LPG cylinder prices as a Women’s Day ‘gift’, easing financial burden on households. The government extended Rs 300 subsidy on each cylinder for poor households under Ujjwala scheme. After the latest reduction, domestic LPG refills of 14.2 kg will cost Rs 803 each in Delhi, Rs 802 in Mumbai, Rs 829 in Kolkata and Rs 818.50 in Chennai.
