Reducing pesky calls: Separate number series for marketing and service calls coming soon; here’s how it may help

Telecom regulators are introducing a new policy to combat spam calls by mandating different numbering series. Unwanted calls from personal numbers have increased, leading to the use of personal SIM cards for deception. TRAI will introduce a separate range for transactional calls.
