BuzzFeed shares soar as Vivek Ramaswamy takes stake

Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican who ended his presidential candidacy in January to support Donald Trump, has acquired a 7.7% stake in BuzzFeed, valued at approximately $6.81 million based on Tuesday's closing share price. Ramaswamy is the founder of Roivant Sciences Ltd., established in 2014, and co-founder of Strive Asset Management, launched in 2022.
