Elon Musk wins back his $44.9 billion Tesla pay package in shareholder vote
Friday, 14 June 2024 Tesla shareholders have voted to reinstate CEO Elon Musk's $44.9 billion pay package. This decision comes after a Delaware judge had previously invalidated the compensation earlier this year. Tesla has said that it would appeal the decision but requested that shareholders reapprove the package at the company's annual meeting in Austin, Texas.
Tesla investors have back a record-breaking pay bundle for manager Elon musk and endorsed an arrangement to move the company's legitimate central command to Texas.
