Boeing announces purchase of Spirit AeroSystems for $4.7 billion in stock
Monday, 1 July 2024 Boeing plans to acquire Spirit AeroSystems for $4.7 billion in an all-stock deal, valuing the transaction at around $8.3 billion including Spirit's net debt. Announced on Sunday, the acquisition values Spirit shares at $37.25 each. Spirit, based in Wichita, Kansas, produces key components for Boeing aircraft.
