At WTO, India, Pak join hands on public stocking of grains

India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka have joined forces to challenge the World Trade Organization's approach to agricultural trade negotiations. The three nations argue that critical issues like public stockholding of food grains and safeguard measures against agricultural imports should be addressed within the established committee structure. They oppose the proposed "facilitator-led" process, citing a lack of consensus and concerns that it undermines the interests of developing countries.
