GST collections 7.3% up in December, totaling Rs 1.77 lakh crore

India's GST revenue grew by 7.3% year-on-year in December, reaching Rs 1.77 lakh crore. Central GST was Rs 32,836 crore, State GST Rs 40,499 crore, Integrated GST Rs 47,783 crore, and Cess Rs 11,471 crore. Refunds issued in December amounted to Rs 22,490 crore, with net GST collection reflecting a 3.3% increase.
