Starmer spoke while hosting German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at his country estate as he’s about to embark on a mission to improve relations with the European Union. Starmer says talks so far with Trump have focused on trade. Trump's tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China have sparked fears of a global trade war.
