NBC reports that these incidents follow a major January 5 mishap involving a door panel blowing off of a Boeing 737 Max 9 plane operated by Alaska Airlines. . In response to that incident, the FAA grounded all Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft in the U.S and ordered increased oversight of Boeing aircraft production.
