Against significant odds, it appears that Aaron Rodgers may complete his historic in-season recovery from a torn Achilles. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets quarterback is “likely to be medically cleared to play this week upcoming.”
Venus Williams, Serena Williams and Quinta Brunson seemingly called out Pat McAfee for his previous comments about WNBA star Caitlin Clark and they definitely called out NFL player Harrison Butker during the 2024 ESPY Awards. Serena, who hosted the award show, was joined by Venus and Quinta on stage for a special segment celebrating this year's rise in popularity of women's sports, thanks in part to Clark.

Pat McAfee is apologizing for referring to WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark as a "white bitch" during a segment on his ESPN show. McAfee appeared on his ESPN show arguing that Indiana Fever star Clark is the singular reason behind the WBNA's surge in popularity and addressing claims that her race is what sets her apart. McAfee went onto say, "I would like the media people that continue to say, 'This rookie class, this rookie class.' Nah, just call it for what it is. There is one white bit*h for the Indiana team who is a superstar."
