In the aftermath of the tragic Learjet 55 crash in Philadelphia, audio recordings from the air traffic control tower at Northeast Philadelphia Airport have been released, capturing the final moments before the crash. The aircraft, en route to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri, lost contact shortly after takeoff and subsequently crashed, resulting in the deaths of all six individuals on board, including a pediatric patient, her mother, and medical crew, all Mexican nationals. Retired pilot John Anderson suggested a takeoff stall, possibly due to a mechanical malfunction or load shift, as the likely cause.

After Mandy Moore's home was damaged by the deadly L.A. wildfires, she and her family are sheltering with Hilary Duff and her husband Matthew Koma. In an Instagram post, Moore's brother-in-law Griffin Goldsmith, whose home completely burned down in the fires, expressed gratitude to Duff and her family for their generosity, which he says includes offering their home to Moore, as well as setting up a GoFundMe page for him and his wife given they lost their house ahead of the upcoming birth of their baby.
